I live in the Caribbean and enjoy yoga, snorkeling, swimming and the warm weather. I am a dental hygienist who has a son who is 11 years old and is one of my best supporters in my journey to fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

I am thoroughly enjoying this whole transformation experience. Attending Fitness Camp in Chicago and San Antonio have been the hilights of my BB journey - well - that is - beyond getting to know the people on my coaching thread!
UPDATE: This summer, with the help of God, I started leading a ladies Bible study group - called First Place 4 Health. By putting Christ first in my life - He is giving me balance - 4 fold: Physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I am finally able to do with Him what I have not been able to do for myself. GOD IS SO GOOD and has blessed me with meeting a lot of great people through this site!

Started P90 on June 3, 2003!!
Had seen the infomercial on TV and thought it looked good. I told a friend I was thinking about ordering a set of work out tapes...didn't tell her it was P90. She says " I have been doing a great set...called P90" Great minds think alike. Total gain: Release of stress New community of supportive friends with common goals Healthier attitude Renewed lease on life Energy Progressing towards a new wardrobe More positive attitude Sense of accomplishment Long term changes taking place. No longer looking at this as a quick fix!! Acceptance of body image Less competitive work out attitude Ability to listen to my own body and make my own choice for what is good for me Positive strokes from co-workers and friends who have seen the changes happening Improved ability to cope with stressful situations Compliments and improved self-esteem Lower resting heart rate Decrease in back aches, headaches and general body pains Different view on life
Who can put a price tag on these things? Thank you to the creators of this program…and everyone who plays a part of it. But mostly, the community support. Reminds me of being in a close knit small-town in a very good sense of the word!
I had a bit of a "back slide" after round one but seem to be back on track again. The support of the group on the thread "Mix and Match: Committed for another 90 days minimum" has me going again. Thanks to my INHOUSE Coach - my son and my Online coach - MDBriggs, BillT, Huggybuff, KellyC, Chelle, Mbb, Karissa, Igarnant, Mbpharr, shellyv, txbabe, energyzme, kathyW,sage, joycey and all! In February 2004, at last, this "student" was ready and the "teacher" appeared and I am finally addressing the nutrition aspect of this program. Because of this not being in place, my progress was not what it could have been and I did not apply to become a coach until just recently. Happy to be approved so that I can GIVE BACK to others what has been so graciously given to me!!!
Update: (Jan 2005) Backslid in the nutrition department due to some emotional curve balls sent my way...chose to take the "easy" way out and let things go but have committed to a food journal as of this week and things are again looking up. It is progress and NOT perfection that I am now striving for!
I have been mixing it up between P90, PHH, SI6, Slim Series yoga, Tae-Bo, stability ball, weight training, and snorkelling. I will be attending Chicago Fitness camp in April and can hardly wait!!
Update: August 7, 2005 - P90X Grad as of today! That feels great! Joining WOWY in March 2004 has made a HUGE difference for me. I have pushed play 6 days of out 7 (sometimes even 7 out of 7) since that day!
Looking forward to whatever comes.("GOD HOLDS MY FUTURE...HE'S GOT A PLAN!...NO NEED TO WORRY, 'CAUSE IT'S ALL IN HIS HANDS") I know this is a lifetime lifestyle change. Happy to have found it. Happy to be a part of the Beach Body Community of friends.
UPDATE: Recently got my TurboKick(TM) certification and will be teaching 1 class a week at a local gym. WHEW HEW! All thanks to this site!
