Hi, My name is Bobbi Jo and I am a new coach. I have had so many health problems that should have scared me straight that didn't. I have been overweight my whole life. We grew up on fast food and delivery. My parents worked all the time and it was convient for them. At the age of 16 I was at 220...age 18 275 and by the time I was 21 I was at my all time high at 325. When I was 23 I had a stroke while sitting in my college classroom. My teacher suspected me on drugs until we later called her to inform her. I spent a year of my life recovering from that with six months on a cane. I lost around 30-40 lbs during that time simply because I couldn't hardly eat. My entire right side was affected and semi paralyzed. After all that I still continued on my road to disaster. Health was something that I didn't pay attention too, after all I fully recovered from a stroke, what could possibly stop me now? Well I am paying for my decisions now. I am 30 years old and a newly diagnosed diabetic with high blood pressure. I now have to take four pills a day. I have fought depression and anxiety and now that is at an all time high. When I found out that I was scared. I didn't want to be on insulin. so I made a deal with my doctor and she gave me deadlines to meet. So far I have kept my end of the bargain. My goal is not to be insulin dependent and to reverse it to where I don't have to have medicine at all.
