I am a 38 year old stay at home mom with 2 children. I love to play sports, soccer, basketball, and my new passion is golf. I love to read, and will find sometimes that I am reading 2-3 books at one time. My family and I love to be outdoors, whether it is hiking, or going to the park, we get cranky when we are cooped up in the house for too long.

The start of my transformation took place a couple months after my son was born. I have always been an active person, was always thin could eat whatever. I played Basketball from 3rd grade taking me straight through college. I ended up having 5 knee surgeries but it never stopped me. In college my coach always wanted us to lift weights, but at that time I thought lifting weights was synonomous with big bulky power-lifter muscles. It wasn't until I met my future husband after college that he introduced me to the streamlined beautiful toned muscles that a woman could have. We got married, and I got pregnant 4 months later with my daughter, I was still active, but was enjoying my pregnancy. I started with SI6 after I had her, but didn't complete all 6 weeks. A few years later I broke it out again after I had my son and really changed my diet and lost 20lbs. I was on cloud nine, feeling great, but I guess I thought it would last forever and the weight crept back up and I am back to square one. In Feb. I logged on to the message boards and saw someone was starting the same day as I (Feb 5th) and I have been going ever since. I have had some ups and downs over the months, but continued to workout. I completed a round of SI6 (finally) and incorporated P90, PHH and on Sept 10th will be starting with Tony again and P90X. I want to get back to that toned, muscular woman that I was before kids and at 35, look better than I did at 25. My husband tells me that for 2 kids I look great, but I know that I can look and feel so much better! I have a few pounds I would like to lose, but I know doing what I am doing I am going to reach my goal! Plus I want to be able to show my kids for years to come that mom can still kick your butt in a game of one on one!!
