Transformation story

Since I was little I have always been in a very fit form. I began dancing as a
little girl, played soccer for 6 years during elementary school, was a
cheerleader for my middle school, More ...
Since I was little I have always been in a very fit form. I began dancing as a
little girl, played soccer for 6 years during elementary school, was a
cheerleader for my middle school, played golf & performed in a dance
company during my high school years. All of these things kept me in good
shape and once I was out of high school and moved into college things
started going down hill.

Everyone hears about the "freshman 15" and I thought I would be safe
because I wasn't going to be living on campus and having to eat their food.
However, I wasn't nearly as active during college as I was during my grade
school years. This led me to gain weight and reach about 145 lbs. I met my
wonderful boyfriend Kyle just prior to entering my final year of high school.
When I started to put on weight, so did he. We ate out together, went on
dates, and watched lots of movies. I had the opportunity to coach gymnastics
for a few years recently, but it wasn't enough to help me get back into the
kinda of shape I had been previously.

One fateful night in May 2007, Kyle and I were flipping through channels and
stopped on this informercial for P90X. (Isn't that how it always happens??)
Anyways, we weren't convinced at first, but ended up checking out the forums
to find all of these REAL people losing REAL weight and turning into totally fit,
totally ripped bodies! We were amazed and ordered P90 that night b/c we
read that it was best to start there first and move up to P90X once we got into
a healthier state.

Our first round last year we got through about 50 days and struggled a few
more days, and unfortunately quit. We had good results though, so we didn't
blame quitting on the program not working! We gained back most of our
weight in a few months and kept telling ourselves "We'll workout tonight..."
and never would.

Well on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31, 2007) Kyle proposed to me at a friends
party. We are getting married April 26, 2009 and we are determined to
workout every day (even "rest days" with a little light cardio) until then.
Starting this round of P90 I am at 140 lbs. I am looking to lose 25 lbs. We will
be doing one round of P90 and then one round of P90x right after. We already
purchased our P90x and I am SO excited to get to it! I just have to get
through our round of P90 first, which will end Dec. 27, 2008.
