I am a 22 year old student from the Bay Area, California. For the majority of my life I was active and participated in various sports and extra curricular activities. As much as I was active, my diet and level of activity prevented me from achieving a more healthy lifestyle. I am a 22 year old student from the Bay Area, California. For the majority of my life I was active and participated in various sports and extra curricular activities. As much as I was active, my diet and level of activity prevented me from achieving a more healthy lifestyle. After my first year of college I decided to take advantage of as many opportunities around me. The most important and empirical thing for me being a solid schedule. I needed the structure to keep myself motivated and on track.
Up until late last year, I was on track - minus the college lifestyle - until my car was rear-ended. I experienced major back muscle spasming, making it nearly impossible for me to keep to my intense schedule. After about 2 months, I began taking the baby steps of eating right and working out normally, and with more vigor and intensity. Needless to say, the past 6 months or so have been grueling in terms of keeping myself motivated. Luckily I have a great support system at home and now here on this website.
