I am a 29 year old resident of Colorado. I have a Liberal Arts degree majoring in German, as well as a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management. I work in the accounting department of a large family health center.

I am married, and we are currently trying to start a family. We have a house on 5 acres with beautiful views of the Rockey Mountains, and on this ranch there is 25 goats, 3

For the most part I’ve always been a little heavier. Of course I did have those skinny moments in High School and College where I exercised regularly…but being young I never had to worry about diet.  More ...
For the most part I’ve always been a little heavier. Of course I did have those skinny moments in High School and College where I exercised regularly…but being young I never had to worry about diet. I stayed in decent shape while waitressing through undergrad, but after moving to Colorado for graduate school I took a full time desk job. Slowly over the past 5 years I have gained 50 pounds, 30 of which in the past 2 years. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 5 months ago…the treatments made me feel less tired, but I was still gaining weight.

I bought Slim in 6 a couple of years ago, but never really finished all 6 weeks. It seemed something would always come up, or I would just be too hard on myself and give up. Most of the time I gave up because I could not do the workouts to the maximum intensity that Debbie was doing. I tried the fasting diets now and then; I would lose about 10 pounds or so in an unhealthy time, but would always gain it back plus some. I hit a record high of 206.6 pounds about 3 months ago…a light just went off in my head that said, THIS IS ENOUGH! I knew I was not ready to jump into SI6 cardiovascular wise…so for 2 weeks I did between 25-50 minutes on the elliptical about 5/6 times a week and ate really clean. I managed to drop about 10 pounds. So, this was it, could I attempt SI6 again? I had my doubts, I didn’t want to get frustrated and give up again, should I try a different program? I told myself, Heather, you’ve had SI6 for years now, you HAVE TO DO IT! So, I pushed play to Start it Up for 3 days, then Ramp it Up until the 2 week mark…and the last 4 weeks I Burned it Up. I am going to be honest…I could not do all of the moves the full length of time Debbie asked for, there were a lot of times I found myself marching in place or doing Knee Ups Arms Ups…but I just told myself, Heather, you’re doing good, you WILL get STRONGER! Every week I made myself do a few more reps…and on the last day of Burn It Up…I did all of those (love-hate) floor leg lifts!

In 2 months I have lost 20 pounds and almost 17 inches. This is about 1 1/2 years of weight gain! Was it HARD…yes, but SO WORTH IT! Beach Body has totally helped boost my self-esteem. I became a member and took full advantage of their Diet, Nutrition, and Online Support. There were days I didn’t want to go home and work out, but I’d just get online, read all of the positive support, and then PUSH PLAY.

Trust me, if I can get a Beach Body Program completed after several rounds of trying, YOU CAN! I’m more than happy to be YOUR COACH, whether you are new to Beach Body, or if you were like me…pushing play for 1 week, stopping, then 2 weeks, stopping, and on and on. Lets finally GET IT DONE! LET’S GET THOSE POUNDS OFF. Let’s FEEL THE DIFFERENCE that EXERCISING and EATING HEALTHY does for us not only MENTALLY, but PHYSICALLY. I have only made a dent in my fitness goals, but I WILL GET THERE, come and join me!
