It is time...again. Several years ago, I bought my FIRST Teambeachbody DVD. It collected dust. Then I found Slim in 6. I had wonderful results, was motivated, and I utilized the tools available on the website, including the help of my wonderfully, incredible coach, Anne Dovel.
As it goes, life happened, and the pounds I lost, found me. I was embarrassed, disappointed, and ashamed because I found myself back to my "before" pictures. I no longer used the message boards and workout buddies.
I started talking to Anne again, and touching base with those who had helped me by holding me accountable and inviting me to workout. I was welcomed back with open arms, and encouraged one again. They were A LOT more forgiving of my shortcomings than I was.
Two days ago, I had the opportunity to workout WITH Shaun T. One again, I saw someone who was real, who truly wanted to see and encourage people to do the best THEY could do...the best I could do. I realized during the workout, that even though I had to improvise and I couldn't do exactly what everyone else was doing, that I WAS NOT doing the best I could do when I was working out in my basement. Shaun T helped me see that I had more to give, and that Teambeachbody has the tools that are effective IF they are used.
My daughter and I have found something that we enjoy doing together, and I can't wait to be posting my progress!
