My name is Mike Sniadecki and I have a wonderful wife of 20 years with three daughters. I'm the Director of Network Services at my company and I have worked in the IT field for over 20 years. I'm also a serious softball player/coach and an umpire in the summer months, and I have been known to play basketball with my friends in the winter "down" time.

I am continuing to slim down in order to be even more competitive in sports, especially softball and basketball. I strive to be in the best shape possible for someone my age. I am also looking forward to the best years of my life, which are still to come.
After softball & umpire season ended in October 2008, even though I knew I was out of shape for a while, I decided that I had to do something different. I normally workout to get ready for the ball season, but I need to change to workouts for life.
I decided to get into a "biggest loser" contest at my workplace. My goal was to lose at least a few pounds each week and not to be embarrassed by gaining pounds. In my first week, I lost 11 pounds, finishing in 3rd place. The second week, I only lost 2 pounds. Knowing my history of trying to lose weight, I had always struggled to lose pounds after the first few weeks.
That was when I ordered the P90X program. Doing the workouts helped me tremendously, and soon after I started, I won weeks #3, #4 and #6 of the contest at work. I won the the overall Biggest Loser contest by losing over 40 pounds (over 15% BMI) in 6 weeks. I was amazed what this P90X program did for me! And...I was actually enjoying my workouts.
I jogged for 30-45 minutes, 4-5 days a week in the morning and I did the P90X later, usually at night. I didn't followed the meal plan exactly, but I started eating 6 small meals a day, and eating better, more nutritious meals. I avoided soda and snacks that were bad for me.
After the contest was over, I gained back 5 to 8 pounds between Thanksgiving Day and the end of the year. This was mostly due to the lack of competition, studying for my CCNA exams (which I passed) and of course the holidays. I still kept up with the P90X workouts, though, and still felt pretty good because of that.
I started a regimen with the meal plan recommeded by the P90X/Beachbody program and did a restart on the P90X program, that started on 1/5/09. I also joined another Biggest Loser contest at my gym on the 5th as well. I enjoy the competitive spirit and helping others stay motivated. I took the Beachbody Performance Formula and Recovery supplements during this time frame...
I graduated from the P90X program on 3/31/09 and as of of 4/04/09 I have lost 50 pounds since Jan. 5th, and I'm finished in 2nd place overall in my gyms's Biggest Loser contest, out of 177 people! So far I have lost 77 pounds since late October of 2008.
I was so inspired by Beachbody.com, Tony, and my coach, Ivan, that I traveled to California in March to attend the Coaches Seminar. What an amazing experience! I met Tony Horton, Ivan (my coach), and many others. I learned about new products such as Shakeology, and the upcoming INSANITY DVDs. It was a renewing experience that I will never forget. Then on June 6, I ran in my first-ever Half-Marathon in South Bend’s Sunburst Races. I was so proud of myself! Running into Notre Dame Stadium was amazing! I felt renewed, accomplished, and…wonderful! I had lost a total of 81 pounds, lowered my Cholesterol from 245 to 186 and dropped 8 pants size since October of 2008. And it all started when I took Tony Horton’s challenge and bought P90X!
I graduated from the P90X PLUS program on July 24th and I will be starting the INSANITY program on August 3rd, and I am ready to go
