I am 45 years old and live in South Florida. I have two awesome kids and an awesome wife. Not much more to say except I am truly happy and very fortunate to have what I have, my family and my health. I love working out with P90X, P90X+, and running everyday.

---Background:
Before P90X I worked out over the years with my Soloflex. I liked working out with the Soloflex but I never achieved real results until I started using P90X and P90X+. However, the other major part of the equation lies with my diet. In January of 2008 I drastically changed my way of eating (with my wife's help) to a low-fat/no-fat diet. Even with all of the running and exercising I was doing before, I still was not able to lose the extra fat around my waist. The change to my eating habits was key because I have seen major results. My "before" picture was taken on the day I started P90X and about six weeks after I changed my eating habits.

P90X Round 1 (completed 6/8/2008)
On March 10th, 2008 I began the P90X journey and did not miss a single day. For the "Recovery" weeks I continued with the Yoga, Kenpo, Core, and Stretch exercises which I am amazed at how great they make me feel.

---Running/Jogging:
I also jog about 1/2 a mile everyday (before each P90X workout) and run in about four races a year which include 5K, 4 mile, and 5 mile distances.

---Recovery Drink:
After each workout I mix about 18 ounces of skim milk with 100% whey protein and 5 grams of creatine. I have a banana with my recovery drink which tastes great to me. After that I drink about 18 ounces of V-8 Juice. This combination gives me the optimal carbohydrate to protein ratio of 4:1 (four grams of carbohydrate for every one gram of protein). This is what tastes good and works for me.
