My name is Amanda (Manda).I'm 22 years old. Have been married for over 4 years now. When I first got with my husband when I Was 16, I weighed 163lbs, and looked okay. My husband is the jealous type so I stopped having a life, didn't go out and do anything. I use to walk miles everyday and stopped that as well. He only drank soda and junk food so that's what I ended up having as well. This was in 2007. By 2009 I was up to 240 pounds.I didn't like the way I looked but I also didn't do anything about it. By March of 2010 I was 19 years old and started to get a ton of migraines and got double vision. I was at my heaviest of 271 pounds. Ended up getting a lumbar puncture to find out that I have Pseudotumor Cerebri. I ended up staying in the hospital for a week from the LP to get more tests ran and my migraines got so bad I couldn't eat anything and kept vomiting. In went down to 263 pounds that week. I was prescibed medicine to start taking. And was told to lose weight. I didn't exercise because my migraines were really bad. But I hardly ever ate because I was always nauseous. I managed to get down into the 250's in 2010 but my migraines never got any better. My neurologist has tried me on a ton of different medicines for them of which none work. I still get a migraine at a minimum of 20 days a month to this very day. In October of 2010 my hair started thinning dramatically. I was so self conscious that I just shaved all of my hair off. My problems still continued and by April of 2011 I started have stomach/chest pains. I went to the ER and they diagnosed me we Pneumonia. Which oddly enough the chest pains they said was from pneumonia I still have to this very day. I have many digestion issues as well. I also have these painful lumps under my skin, can't see, but you can feel them. My stomach/chest area gets super swelled up at times. So fast forward to today, I still have all of these problems and am tired of relying on doctor's who seem to care and do absolutely nothing for me and look at me as if I'm making this stuff up. I am in so much pain, tired of not having a job and doing anything with my life. I'm taking matters into my own hands. It's going to hurt considering how much pain I am in, my head literally feels like it's going to burst everytime I bend over. My chest hurts whenever I take pain medication so that doesn't ever help. I want to lose weight and get healthy. I am 5'8" and currently weigh 246lbs as of 10/30/12. My goal is to get down to 145lbs. And to not have to take medicine anymore. I am starting with Power 90, then plan on doing P90X, P90X2 and then go from there... :-)
