My story isn't unique. I'm a mom to two awesome kids (age 10 and 4). After my last pregnancy, I gained 80lbs,and today consistently pack around 30-40 of those give or take a few. I'm tall, 5'10" so I can pull this weight off to some degree, but I hate it. I want to feel sexy again. I want to be able to wake up, throw on my favorite Levis and tank top and know that its gonna look great before I even take a look in the mirror. I'm sick of trying on 3-5 outfits to find the one that I will be comfortable enough in to walk out the door wearing. I have packed on this weight for over 4 years . Over that time, I have gone through moments of commitment where I may lose 10-20 lbs, but its not long before old habits take over and the pounds pile on again. What's different this time is that I'm not stopping. I'm not going to just lose the weight for that cruise or event. I'm not going to lose it b/c I am in some challenge with a group of friends; I'm gonna lose it b/c I am working out and eating healthy as much as I can. I want to be lean more than anything anymore, and I tell myself that often enough that it wards off laziness and cravings. I also enjoy the fun of Turbo Jam and the simplicty of Power 90. I find this time working out is not a chore, but actually rewarding, and a bit of a stress relief. This time its not about just obtainig a goal, but about committment, and unlike goals, committment doesn't end. Fitness is a religion and I have to continually keep the faith that it will pay off.
