My name is Mariel. I was always a little over weight. In 2008, after seeing ourselves in pictures, my husband and I decided to give each other gym memberships for Christmas. I started looking and feeling better and it was great to have my hubby there to hold me accountable. In 2009, I became pregnant and stopped exercising all together. After my little pumpkin was born, I started doing p90x with my husband because actually having time to go to the gym was impossible. I was AMAZED at the results I saw but being a new mom, it was hard to keep up. I went on to try Insanity and again, the results were amazing but I could not commit. I recently went to the store to buy pants and had to try on a size 11....from being a size 2.... I realized I need to make a serious change. I have to do this for myself. I have 3 herniated disks in my back and every morning that I am not in shape, I wake up in pain and literally can't get up. When I was using p90x and Insanity, I had no back issues. I am ready to recommit and get serious about my health. I can't wait to see the results!
