My Transformation Story

Two words that I have hated my whole life are Hoss and Biggin. For the past five years I had heard those two words more than anytime in my life. Most of my family are or have been obese as long as I can remember. When I started working for the sheriff’s office I was in shape and I became a member of the Special Response Team. Over the years, as many be people do, I became complacent, was given more responsibility at work and then I let my body go. Every time I looked in the mirror or someone made a comment about my weight, I just laughed along with them. The bad thing is, to help me through the jokes and comments, I ate more and more burgers and fries. I remember my wife doing Slim and 6 after she got sick, knowing I needed to be doing it along side but I would just go in the other room and watch TV. After I saw P90X on TV, I told my wife that was for me. Now we have completed our second round of P90X successfully. We have been diligent about taking our supplements, eating clean and working out. Logging into WOWY is easy and funny especially when you see all the people logged on changing their lives. Now I look in the mirror and see the difference, people are now asking me how much weight have I lost, or what are you doing to get in shape. Becoming a coach has also been a great experience for me, knowing that I can help others gain knowledge and reach their goals by encouraging them not to give up and to continue on their journey. Tommy Lasorda said “It take 24 guys to pull on the same side of the rope to win” I’m now on that side of the rope and winning, thanks to Beach Body, my wife and my coach Traci Morrow.
