I am a 33 year old mother of a beautiful 9 yr old daughter and 13 yr old step son. I experienced awesome success with BB after having my daughter in 2004. Unfortunately, I let life get the best of me. A divorce, cross country move, job layoff(s) had caused me to become laxed with my workouts. Initially I put on about 20 lbs...then I began a new relationship, began cooking and being in the *new* I am a 33 year old mother of a beautiful 9 yr old daughter and 13 yr old step son. I experienced awesome success with BB after having my daughter in 2004. Unfortunately, I let life get the best of me. A divorce, cross country move, job layoff(s) had caused me to become laxed with my workouts. Initially I put on about 20 lbs...then I began a new relationship, began cooking and being in the *new* stages where my workouts went from slacking to none. Needless to say, 4 yrs into this relationship, almost 2 yrs remarried...I found that I have put on nearly all the weight I'd loss 8 yrs ago. I was 9 lbs away from the largest I'd ever been in my life and that was my wake up call. I had to dig deep and figure out where I went wrong because THIS time I vow to NEVER to put myself in the position of having to workout to loose weight again. My health is much to important to let it slip again. Another reason that I got laxed is that so many people were telling me "if you loose anymore weight, you'll look sick" but the funny thing is they never saw me without the help of clothes to hold, lift & hide...so my goals this time seem pretty aggressive even to me, but why NOT. I believe I can have a flat stomach! I also vow NOT to listen to others sabotaging opinions but listen to my body. I am already feeling so much better about myself and life at 30+days into working out and can't understand HOW I ever stopped. It is easy to realize that you are feeling "bad" and lethargic when you are use to it! NOW, experiencing the LIFE I feel...I know I won't be stopping for the rest of my life. I want to feel good, be active and live a long adventure filled life with my family. I appreciate all support and buddies for accountability. I mapped out a 60 week plan to reach my goals. It would be nice to reach them prior, but I am committed to loosing this weight by TRUE lifestyle changes, not extreme changes that I can't maintain. I believe that was another part of my downfall before. I KNOW BB programs provide awesome results as long as you WORK them! So I am here to WORK!

This is my "coming home" to Beachbody. I lost over 60 lbs in 2004 working P90 & SI6. A divorce, cross country move, job layoff, remarriage and 8 yrs later, I found myself BACK in a bad place with regaining 50 lbs of the 60 I lost..I guess that was the wake up call I needed to get my booty in GEAR! So here I am with the lesson of how NOT TAKING CARE OF MYSELF is never a good thing and I am back for the long haul, reimplementing my lifestyle changes and LIVING MY BEST LIFE! I have an old thread when the BB community was the happening spot--before FB, Twitter and all the social networking. I am posting a link to any who would like to see my old progression pictures and I plan to start another accountability thread on the message boards for daily check ins and motivation because I don't fancy FB and all the other sites. I will post that link once I have my pics to upload. Feel free to stop by for motivation & encouragement-to give or receive. We are all in this together and the key to my previous success was accountability & support. I look forward to ALL of us getting healthier and living our lives to the fullest!
