I have struggled with weight nearly all my life. Since I can remember I was always the "big" kid.

It can be easy to make fun of myself for it now, and embrace it as part of who I am. Its really just a self defense from the reality that it is impacting my life in all the wrong ways.

I want to be able to enjoy my life to the fullest and pursue wherever my passion might lead me. Today, October 18, 2010 is the first day of what I know will be the rest of my life.

I have hundreds of pounds to lose, years of damage and neglect to unseat, and 90 days to throw it all away and equip myself with the tools for success.

What is success for me? Short term: I want to do 1 pull up; long term: I want to empower myself with the abilities to do whatever it is that I want to do, and to have many years in which to do it.
