About me- I'm 34 years old, I have been thin most of my life taking dancing and gymnastics throughout high school, but when I reached my late 20's I started to gain weight. I noticed that I went from being active and motivated to being lazy, watching tv, and eating anything I wanted. I got married at 28 years old weighing in at 118. I was divorced by the age of 30 and right after my divorce I blew up to 180 lbs which is a lot for my 5'1" frame. I didn't have any self esteem, I didn't think I was "good enough" to have a boyfriend or dates. I wore clothes that covered me up that were not anywhere near cute. During that phase in my life all I wanted to do was eat. I had it in my head that I was worthless and it didn't matter whether I pigged out on pizza or cake or got fatter because nobody cared. Then one day I met someone and we dated for about 3 months. (First date in a 1 1/2 years) - I was excited, happy, insecure, all at the same time. Then one day he just stopped calling me out of the blue and in my mind, even if it wasn't true, in my mind he dumped me for being fat. At that moment, I saw the infomercial for beachbody.com and I ordered immediately. I started with The power 90. I worked out every single day, I was sick of being fat, I was going to show everyone I could do it. And, I did. I lost 46 lbs, I now have a steady boyfriend for almost a year. My friends tell me I act and look like a different person. I feel like a different person, I am finally happy with myself. I would still like to lose about 15 more lbs. It takes time and I'm working on it. I now have expanded my tapes from power 90 to power half hour, 10 minute trainer, hip hop abs, turbo jam, yoga booty ballet, and great body guaranteed. Sometimes it's hard to choose which one I'm in the mood for on that particular day. So, to everyone out there that feels like it's a lost cause, impossible, or too hard, I only have one thing to say and that is: You will never know until you try, so let's get started today!!!!!!
