Like many, my time is the most endangered resource. I enjoy many of the activities that fill my day, except for the commuting. Writing software and sitting behind a desk for half the day makes surely doesn’t do much for staying trim. At home, I’ve been busy recovering from flood damage (broken pipe), which has been consuming most every available remaining minute.

My weight went from 190 lbs a couple years ago to 235 lbs on March 18th. My friends assume that my home improvements projects should be enough exercise to stay in shape, and because my large bone structure, 45 extra pounds hangs on my frame like 20 on others. But the reality is that I'm obese and I feel horrible!
Over that last year I noticed I would have shortness of breath just sitting in the car on the way home. It got more intense and my doctor said it was General Panic Disorder. I did the whole medical workup, verified nothing is blocked, heart is good, etc. Did the whole medicated approach to solving this but the root cause is I’m just plain worried that my extra weight is killing me slowly. I've been to the ER 3 times in the last year 1/2 because of feeling like my vitals were out of control.
I order the Power 90 and got a green light from my doctor to start. Did all my measurements and photos on (3-18-07) and I’m looking forward to my journey back to a healthy me. My goal is to get down to 185… that’s 50 lbs of fat burn, but I look forward to being very active again.

Well at day 53 I feel like I have a new body! All of my health issues have gone away and people are telling me how thin I look. I've been keeping a log of my workouts and my body stats along the way, it helps to me to stay focused. If someone would have told me that in 6 weeks you can loose 25lbs and 20% body fat I would have laughed in their face. The transformation is happening much quicker than I have ever thought possible. What turned me on to Beachbody was the P90X commercials. I looked into P90X and decided it was above my fitness level at the time and started with Power 90. On day 1, I had to hit pause at least 5 times on the level 1-2 sweat cardio, but not even 2 weeks went by and I moved up to level 3-4. I used the Power 90 for 5 weeks at which time I began P90X. I’m down to 210lbs, 33 1/2 waist, 35 1/2 abs (from 44!) and my body fat is now at 10%!!! I couldn’t have done it without tools and diet advice from Beachbody. Tony Horton and Beachbody have enabled me to change my life, thanks Beachbody!
