AUGUST 2009: I found myself falling into mild depression. I had just returned from a 3 week road trip visiting friends & family only to discover I had gained several pounds on top of what I had already been trying to lose. For 2 years, I had been rather strict following The South Beach Diet (which I still believe is a wonderful program). I returned to "the diet" as well as running 12 miles weekly. I did shed those vacation pounds but then encountered a problem. I had met my plateau.

SEPTEMBER 4: REALITY CHECK! My husband & I have taken & posted our "before" photos.

SEPT 5&6: I used Beachbody's 2-DAY FAST product. I LOST 4.5LBS!

SEPT 7: Today was my (& my husband, Dawson) first day on the P90X program! I am exhausted yet feel so energized. This program could be the one to do the job. The food on my nutrition plan is so simple yet satisfying. Anxious to see how my body feels tomorrow! Water, water, water.

SEPT 13: YEAH! I completed the 1st week of P90X. I am so excited. My body aches in a good way. Each day this week has reminded me of muscles I had forgotten about. I know it's crazy, BUT I can already feel my body changing in a positive direction. This is such an AWESOME workout! The best part is that I am doing it at home, in my family room, with my husband, & all while my children are sleeping. No getting up to go to the gym. No more gym dues. No more planning what to do with the baby. This is a program that will only fail if you are NOT using it! I have the fitness fire again. I want to be an independent coach for Beachbody.

OCTOBER 7: We have now completed our first 30 days! It went by so fast. Time for the test.....our updated photos. WOW! I can see such a difference in both myself & Dawson. Our bodies are making the transformation! So glad to know after all the hard work we have both put forward LOL. We have posted our photos & now very much looking forward to what these next 30 days will bring!

October 29: Still working out though I have missed several days due to "lifes happenings"..... children, schedules, exhaustion, etc. I have been averaging a workout every other day(but my husband is ahead of me & still on schedule). I have continued to follow the meal plan though I am baking fall goodies for my children & occassionally lick a baking spoon or have a "taste test".
I'm still getting great results, but the progression is just a bit slower due to the above mentioned circumstances. ;0) I have now made it my goal to hop back on board with my daily workouts. After all, it will soon be time to take my 60 day photos! I have chosen to share this with you so that you may know life DOES happen & there WILL be days you cannot get a workout in or may not eat exactly as suggested BUT it is no reason to give up. Jump back in & know that your HEALTH IS WORTH GIVING IT YOUR BEST!

February 16, 2010: Starting over on P90X!!! Yes, I must be honest. I did not complete my first round. I was so close! Thanksgiving & Christmas rolled around & with the onset of depression I fell off of my strict eating schedule as well as workout schedule. Ive had the desire to start over BUT not the motivation until now. My new motivation is that living in Florida, "bikini season" will soon arrive! Being a Beachbody Coach with an awesome growing team, forces me to be in the best shape possible. I cannot & will not let my team down. I MUST be a product of our product! So, here I go! I will give it my all with hopefully NO interruptions this time! Today was my first day of P90X (again) & it did feel like starting over! It was just as hard as it was the first time! I also plan to add in a few extra evening workouts each week with Turbo Jam & Brazil Butt Lift! Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Bikini here I come!!! = )
