Being a store manager for 5 years really took a toll on me, my mind my body and my spirit. I let running a store run my life. I never made time for myself. I knew I was gaining weight but lacked the motivation to do anything about it.

I have several Beachbody workouts and never finished a single one:/ A friend of my family became a personal trainer so I decided to give her a try. I started working out with her 3 times a week beginning May 25, 2012. I lost some inches and a few pounds but wasn't getting the results I wanted due to poor nutrition. My trainer lived out of town and it was difficult to keep on track since i needed constant motivated. I wasn't doing anything in between workouts with her and that really didn't help my results.

I spent the summer muffin topping it around town squeezing into jeans that no longer fit, sausaging myself into my shirts that were two sizes to small and covering up my huge "mom hips" at the beach while everyone else was flauting there awesome bodies.

At the end of July (2012) my husband and I took a trip to VEGAS!!! I was so excited to go since it was my 1st time! I couldn't wait to share my experience with everyone BUT the pictures were so bad I didn't even want to share them with friends and family because I was so embarrassed. I couldn't believe how overweight I had become! I was so tired of feeling bad about the way I looked. Feeling bad about myself was seriously effecting my relationships with other people.I wasn't happy with myself how could I be happy with someone else?

I knew something had to change. I made a bet with a good friend on who could get the fittest in 90 days. She took me up on it!!! So now I had to find out what I was going to do to win this bet.

I Googled "loose weight in 90 days" and I ran across a YouTube Video of Lauren Knights P90X and Shakeology results. I was amazed! I was just about her weight when she started and I was the same clothing size. Her after pictures were absolutely breath taking I wanted that body so bad. I knew if she could do it so could I.

I picked up P90X and asked my inspiration to be My Coach. I logged into the WOWY super gym and began logging my workouts daily to keep me accountable. I also met some really great people through the message boards. I joined a Nutrition bootcamp (through the message boards)and got on Shakeology. I joined a challenge group and loved the additional support I got from it! I finished my 1st round of P90X on Saturday November 17t,2012!

I'm so proud that I finally finished an entire program! I'm down 23lbs. and 32 inches so far!! I love myself and I'm no longer the unhappy miserable person I use to be. It's inspired me to keep going and to help other people on there road to health and fitness. I've become an Independent BeachBody Coach and I'm starting my very own Challenge group on Dec.3rd! I couldn't have done it alone!
