Colorado Springs, CO Working as a software tester doesn't allow me a very physical time at work. But I love the outdoors climbing, biking, backpacking, mountaineering, whatever. I've actually climbed Cerro Aconcagua in Argentina which is 22,830 ft. tall! That was one strenuous trip and I know that I would not have been able to duplicate that trip over the last couple of years. Now? Oh, yeah! If I didn't have so many other responsibilities I might consider that type of trip again. I also love Photography and computer gaming. Funny but since I started P90X those two activities have taken a backseat in my standard activities. --------------------------- That was 2007, in 2010 all of the above apply, but now that I have been consistently focused on my fitness for three years I have introduced other activities and other family responsibilities as well. My family has grown by one in the past three years and having a new born around really messed with my workout schedule. Trying to get up at 4am when you've already been up at 12 and 2 is difficult. Thankfully those days are mostly gone and my morning workout routine is back on track! One huge activity change is that I have started (and become addicted to) triathlons and other multi-sport events! They are such a fun challenge to undertake. Right now I have stayed with shorter races and events anything for 1.5hrs to 3.5hrs to finish. Also new this year I am starting INSANITY!

Okay, so I was on a cruise with my wife (it was our honeymoon/ her graduation present) and when we got home and looked at the pictures we had taken, I finally realized just how much weight I had put on over the last couple of years while we were dating. I tried working out harder on my Total Gym, but the encouragement just wasn't there. I was flipping through channels one Sunday morning after my TG workout and saw the P90X infomercial. That settled it. I looked at it online, then thought about it for a couple of days and ordered my life changing videos. I love them, the changes I've seen in myself, and the variety of the workouts.
180 day update. 2 rounds of P90X are completed!! These workouts keep me challenged and keep getting tougher. The more I progress, the more the videos challenge me.
1.5 years down the healthy road! Okay so I have slacked off a bit on doing pure P90X. That's only because P90X doesn't include Swimming biking and running. This past Summer I have started doing triathlons and they are a blast! The Tri community as well is very firendly and encouraging! I still keep up with the P90X resistance workouts and do a week or cardio workouts for recovery. I am at 180lbs and fel great!
