I believe everything happens for a reason. For 20 years, the military helped me maintain a healthy lifestyle with routine fitness and sports activities. Even before the military, my involvement with sports and dance (ballet and tap) kept me in shape. Since retiring from the military, my daily routine fosters an unhealthy eating pattern and limited time to work out. I've started, but never stuck with other workout routines, but when my coach (Torre) shared Hip Hop Abs, there was something different.

Working out with Shaun T (on video) is upbeat and fun. I can definitely see myself sticking to this routine and encouraging my family and friends to join me. It's contagious...we can motivate each other.

Working in the sports industry, this will help me to lead by example as I talk to youth, really everyone, about being healthy and incorporating fitness in their daily routines. I have more energy than I have had in a while. I guess it's meant for me to get back in better shape to help myself and others.
