Hi, my name is Bette Sellers and I am a 42 year/old medical office manager. Beachbody offers a variety of programs, supplements and peer support to help you on your way to a healthy lifestyle. I've been married to my wonderful husband for 19 fantastic years and we have 2 energetic little boys ages 4 and 10. In essence I have 3 full-time jobs. I've been married to my wonderful husband for 19 fantastic years and we have 2 energetic little boys ages 4 and 10. In essence I have 3 full-time jobs. As most of us do, I was taking care of everyone but myself. My never ending schedules lead to shortcuts in other areas. Eating right was the first to be pushed to the waste side, so then my weight increased upward. In November 2007 I weighed in at 161 lbs, by October 2008 I had managed to lose only 5 lbs. During October 2008 I found out I had Hypothyroidism and high cholesterol. I decided at that time to go on a crazy and unhealthy diet. In 2 months I lost 10 lbs but nothing was toned and it was very hard to keep the weight from returning. After the New Year 2009, my husband began to research exercise programs and found a company named Beachbody.com. This company offered many fitness programs, but he chose to purchase the P90X Extreme Home Training program. At the end of February 2009 beginning of March I started working out here and there and began to follow a more natural and healthy nutrition plan. However, it was just maintaining my weight loss at that time. I wanted to see results like my husband, who was working out to P90X every day. The competitor and vanity in me took over. There was no way he was going to be slim and fit, toned and buffed by summer time and I wasn’t. So I got on board. As of April 9, 2009, I weighed in at 145 lbs. Today is May 2, 2009 and I have lost 6 lbs in 23 days and weigh 139 lbs. I can already see and feel the inches melting away as well as my muscle tone improving. I now realize the key to success with P90X or any other exercise program is following a nutrition plan and using the recommended supplements. Teambeachbody is the real deal!
