I am 32 years young and have fought with my weight for as long as I can remember. I spent almost 9 years in the US Army as a Military Policeman. That is probably the only thing that kept my weight down for so long. Towards the end of my enlistment however, my weight began to increase with no known causes. I got out of the Army in January 2006. In August 2007, I was finally diagnosed with PCOS

I have been sticking to the workout program--NO EXCEPTIONS!!! I also thought that since I am working out I should probably be taking some type of supplements. I did not buy any through BeachBody.com, More ...
I have been sticking to the workout program--NO EXCEPTIONS!!! I also thought that since I am working out I should probably be taking some type of supplements. I did not buy any through BeachBody.com, but I did go out and get some Whey Protein Powder to help. I also take prenatal vitamins and omega-3 fish oil pills.

Right now, all I look forward to is the next workout. I don't worry about when I will finish the first round of SI6, but rather what time I will workout tomorrow. My goal everyday is to push myself hard and make every workout worth it.

2/17/09--Well, I was going to wait until the official end of my first two weeks to take measurements, but I couldn't wait. Although I actually gained three pounds in the past 11 days, I have lost a total of 7 inches!!! An inch in my chest, 3 inches in my waist, and 1.5 inches in each mid-thigh!!! I can't believe 3 inches! That is so amazing!! I can't see a difference, but my husband says he can, so apparently all this hard work is obviously working. I didn't do pictures tonight, but I don't want to do them until my first 6 weeks is over. I'll just keep pushing myself until then.

2/28/09--Day 22 and 10.5 inches lost total! I really can't believe it. My weight hasn't changed much. First I gained 3 pounds, now I've lost 2, so that puts me at a pound more than when I started. But I've lost 5 inches in my waist, 2 inches in my chest, 1 inch in my hips, and 3 inches toal in my mid-thighs, and actually gained .25 inches in my upper arms. And my face looks thinner; I can actually see and feel my jawline again. But wait! According to the tools on this site, my beginning body fat was 46%; today it was 33%!!! That's 13% of body fat lost in 22 days!!!!!! Wow!! I did start the 1600 Calorie Slim Down Diet a week ago, so that could be making a significant difference too. I can't wait to see what the next 3 weeks bring, as I start Week 4 today . . .

3/5/09--well, I haven't worked out in three days because I just found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant. Yes!!! Pregnant!!! I guess my theory of exercising would help me get pregnant actually worked. After waiting until I talked to my doctor, I can still exercise but I have to be more cautious about how much I exert myself and for how long I exercise. So now my program is not for weight loss, but rather for a healthy pregnancy and to help prepare my body for exercise after I give birth. My due date is November 8, 2009, a day after my birthday. So, my progress and measurements will be much different. In the meantime, let's get that baby growing!!!
