I am 52 years old and have struggled with weight most of my life. Since my teenage years I have inched up and down the scale depending on situations, to where I now am at 195. Despite menopause and the excuses it might give me, I don't want excuses, and I don't want this extra weight. The time is Now to try and get fit. It will only get harder and I want to age with grace and in good health.

I have just finished my first round of Slim in 6. I have lost 5 pounds and 15 1/4". I am starting to see a difference in my muscles particularly. The biggest success to me is actually doing it. Before I started I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do even the Start it Up workout, as I was not feeling very confident physically. Here I am now keeping up with Burn it Up, with a few minor modifications. It still is hard but I feel that completing 6 weeks is a major accomplishment! My goal is to do a whole year, working out 6 days a week. I so want to get fit and be free of shame about how my body looks. With the help of Million Dollar Body fitness programs and the community of online members and coaches, I feel I have support I never had before in attempting to fulfill a lengthy goal like this. I feel for the first time that it is within my reach if I keep at it.
