Transformation story

I wasn't heavy growing up, nor in high school and not much in college. I did eat a lot of garbage though. I loved fast food and soda. I couldn't get enough and honestly, if you threw it in front of More ...
I wasn't heavy growing up, nor in high school and not much in college. I did eat a lot of garbage though. I loved fast food and soda. I couldn't get enough and honestly, if you threw it in front of me now I'd turn it down but it would be hard. At the end of college and then afterwards I started getting big, I am 5'4" and got up to 220lbs. I never exercised and just ate horribly. I knew I was overweight and was told nicely from close family that I should be careful but that didn't stop me.

Eventually I decided for myself that enough was enough. I cut out the fast food, soda, all red meat and started eating much more healthy foods. I also started exercising. Amazingly I dropped weight. I didn't need any fad diets to do it or surgery. Just the simple idea of eating right and exercising.

After a while I got bored with the gym and running. There was no variety and I just didn't want to go anymore. I knew I had to but I just hated it.

I had seen all of the P90X and Insanity commercials on TV and my partner and I decided to order Insanity. I thought that there would be no way I could get through this program. Once I started doing Insanity though I liked it to my surprise. I loved the variety. I loved Shaun T and his motivation to succeed. I actually stuck with it 6 days a week, sometimes 7 for all 60 days. Again, no surprise, I lost inches and a few lbs.

I now realize that Beachbody products are the way I am going to go from now on. I started drinking Shakeology which I absolutely love, I am doing P90X along with Insanity and I can't wait to get into more fitness programs.

I would love to help other people succeed as I did.
