I am 41 years old and have been married for almost 12 years. My wife and I have 3 amazing children two boys ages 10 and 9 and a 3 year old girl. I have been a teacher (math) and coach (soccer, basketball and lacrosse) for the past 16 years.

Transformation story

I have always been very athletic. In college I played varsity soccer for 2 years and varsity lacrosse for 4 years where I was a captain and a league all-star.

I have always been very athletic. In college I played varsity soccer for 2 years and varsity lacrosse for 4 years where I was a captain and a league all-star.

After college I stayed in shape by running, lifting weights and eventually studying martial arts.

Once I got married and started to have children I didn't have as much time to workout and so I let myself go (at least that is my excuse).

At my worst I was about 210lbs. which might not seem like a lot but it was the heaviest I had ever been. I was embarrassed to go to the beach and take my shirt off and so I didn't go into the water and play with my children. Also, I live right near the beach so I ended up being embarrassed a lot.

In September 2007 I saw P90X on TV and decided to try it. I started the program about 5 different times but never seemed to be able to finish it. On day in school a student commented on the fact that I looked like I had a belly. This finally made me start and complete P90X.

I am 6'1" and when I started I was 209 lbs., my waist was 38.5" and my body fat percentage was between 23-24%. After completing P90X I now weigh 194 lbs., my waist is 35" and my body fat percentage is about 17%.

After seeing the results I got after 1 round of P90X, I plan to continue with P90X+ and then maybe go on to either One on One with Tony or try RevAbs.

My goals are not to lose anymore weight but to gain muscle and get my body fat percentage down to 10% or less.
