I am 33 years young. I have a 9-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son. My husband and I just celebrated our 10-year anniversary this past August. We met in college when I was a sexy size six. I was a dancer in a local dance company so I had plenty of exercise. Between dance classes and dance rehearsals I danced at least 2 to 3 hours per day. My battle of the bulge began with the birth of my daughter. I gained exactly 40 pounds during my pregnancy. Unfortunately, in the 9 years since the birth of my daughter, I’ve only lost 20 lbs (and that number wavers between 15 and 20). I am now a solid size 12. I’ve been on every diet, every program and have made so many “lifestyle changes” that body is thoroughly confused. But one thing I do know is that if I exercise consistently and eat a proper, balanced diet, my body will respond. And I’m sure that Slim in 6 will help me get the response I want: losing that last 20 to 25 pounds.
I am a confirmed shop-a-holic; But lately shopping hasn't been as fun because I get frustrated when I see clothes that I like but can't buy because I’m too big. My Slim in 6 goal is that I will drop at least 2 sizes by spring. I have all the tools: the workout, the nutrition and the support. I just have to use them. Let’s do it! I am a beachbody-to-be!
