My name is Paige and I am a stay-at-home mom with 2 amazing boys. I am blessed to be married to my hubby of 15 years. I am a former Kindergarten teacher. I love to travel, scrapbook, play tennis and support my boys at all of their sports & extra curricular events. As a mother and wife, it is just natural to put the needs of your family first... which is a GOOD thing... unless it leads to neglecting your own health. I have learned that I am a better wife and mother when I am taking care of my own body. I am more confident and have more energy for my husband and children. As you will see in my transformation story, I have struggled with my weight since college. My sweet tooth has worked against me for years. And, I'm not a huge fan of working out. :) My father passed away at a relatively young age due to heart complications, largely attributed to his poor diet and unhealthy lifestyle. Type 2 Diabetes also runs in my extended family. That's why I have become passionate about my health and am so excited about Team Beachbody. My friend, StephanieR (check out her story at http://www.teambeachbody.com/stephanieR) introduced me to the program after I had noticed her amazing transformation. I need the support, encouragement and accountability that Team Beachbody provides. I want to be forever free of the yo-yo cycle of gaining, dieting, & losing weight. I want to live an active life... well into my golden years. And, I want to set a good example of a healthy lifestyle for my children in hopes that they will never struggle with food and weight issues. I love to encourage others and look forward to helping each of you reach your fitness goals, whether it be losing 10 pounds, 100 pounds, or gaining strength, flexibility, energy, or just "toning". My biggest reward is to see you succeed and gain a confidence you have never had before... what joy! As I work my way through the Beachbody programs, let's hold each other accountable... and succeed together! We owe it to ourselves and our families to stay active and leave a legacy of a healthy lifestyle.

I have struggled with my weight since my freshman year in college. I fell victim to the "freshman fifteen" and attended a Diet Center the summer between my freshman and sophomore year. I More ...
I have struggled with my weight since my freshman year in college. I fell victim to the "freshman fifteen" and attended a Diet Center the summer between my freshman and sophomore year. I lost the weight that summer, but slowly put it back on... and more. I joined different fitness centers and implemented different exercise programs... only to yo-yo up and down with my weight. When I was pregnant with my first child, I did the "Weigh Down Workshop" out of a fear of gaining an excessive amount of weight during my pregnancy. After having my second child, I tried the South Beach Diet... which didn't last long at all because I quickly felt deprived of certain foods and quit. I took up tennis 2 years ago... in an effort to find a way to exercise and have fun. But, I did not have the accountability with my diet & nutrition and lacked any kind of strength training. Upon gaining even more weight, my next act of desperation was Jenny Craig. I lost 15 pounds on Jenny Craig and then hit a plateau, as I was only addressing the "food" side and not the exercise. Also, because I was eating individually prepackaged meals, I realized that I wasn't teaching or training my children how to eat healthy. Accountability and structure kept me going on other programs, so when my friend told me about Beachbody, I realized it had all I was looking for... the diet & nutrition, exercise, accountability, support, and structure, not to mention the opportunity to earn a supplemental income while I'm getting fit!
I've been doing the programs for a while now and I LOVE them! It is so much easier to fit these exercise programs into my schedule, so I'm much more consistent. I am losing inches and I have so much more energy! I sampled many different programs (Turbo Jam, Slim in 6, Power 90, & ChaLEAN Extreme). And, I've just started P90X! I'm also focusing on good nutrition and can't wait to see the results!
