I am an enthusiastic person who enjoys many things in life, namely my husband, children, job, and fitness. My husband and I are natives to Southern California and enjoy living in Orange County where we are close to many family and friends.

From the age of two I have been an active person. As a child I enjoyed competitively dancing and then progressed into soccer for many years. It wasn't until college when I stopped participating in fitness that I gained 30 pounds in seven months. I realized not only had my metabolism changed, but that my body really needed the proper nutrition and exercise. At the end of my freshman year I joined a gym and realized I loved the effects of being healthy. Immediately I began participating in group exercise classes where I learned form and technique while enjoying the social benefits of working out with others. The following year I began reading more books on nutrition and started to be known as the fitness person among friends and coworkers.

When I was pregnant with my first child I kept up my normal eating habits and workout routine. This not only helped me feel good about myself during pregnancy, but I believe it made my delivery and recovery that much easier. However, after my son was born I realized I couldn't dedicate as much time to being at the gym. In addition, I was now cooking for a full family and didn't have the expertise to combine quick, filling, yet healthy meals for everyone. It took me two years to start getting some of my routine down and get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

Almost 15 years after first joining the gym in college, I now find myself pregnant again. I know that at the end of this pregnancy I don't want to wait two years before getting in shape. I met my Coach through the gym and saw what quick and amazing results she had from the Beachbody community, including the workout videos, meal replacements, and online support. Immediately I knew I wanted to be a part of this. I look forward to not only maintaining my own health and getting back in shape, but helping others achieve their own nutrition and fitness goals along the way!
