Arlington, VA I'm now 32-years old and I'm a chronic yo-yo dieter. I have always been a little overweight. I was the chubby kid in school who was always picked last in kickball. I was the chubby wall flower at high school dances. I gained more than the Freshman 15 in college. After college I decided to make a few changes. I tried several different diets...some worked, some didn't. I added small I'm now 32-years old and I'm a chronic yo-yo dieter. I have always been a little overweight. After college I decided to make a few changes. I tried several different diets...some worked, some didn't. I added small amounts of exercise, which helped, but my motivation would fall off after a few weeks. A few years ago I hired a personal trainer. The support I got from him was amazingly helpful...I no longer felt I was doing this all alone. I dropped 85 pounds. I went from 220 to 135 and felt great. Sadly, it didn't last as long as I'd have liked because I met someone, fell in love, and got really complacent. My boyfriend's health and fitness habits are quite different from my own (read: late night pizza and beer runs). Anyway, it's gotten ridiculous. I've gained back 40 pounds and even my fat jeans are getting snug. So, I've had a sincere heart to heart with my boyfriend about my fitness/health goals and have enlisted his support. He has promised to hide the Costco size jar of Jelly Bellies and has gone shopping with me for healthy cookbooks. Now, I need to be consistent with my diet and fitness regime, which is leading me here. I've bought Power 90, and started my workout in September 2011. I'm not ready for anything more strenuous because I haven't been working out consistently for several months. So far, I like the program, and I would really like to work up to more intense programs. I'm going to need some help, though.

So, I completed day 3 of P90 today. My calves have been aching all day, thanks to the sweat 1-2 yesterday (I think it was all the jumping around). My chest aches (thanks pushups) and my hip More ... View Blog
