I took dance from the time I was 2 to 18 and then was on the college dance team, so I never had to worry too much about my weight. I was just active enough to stay slim. While at college I started More ...
I took dance from the time I was 2 to 18 and then was on the college dance team, so I never had to worry too much about my weight. I was just active enough to stay slim. While at college I started going to the gym and really got into the whole fitness lifestyle. I would spend hours at the gym doing aerobic classes, weights, ab classes, and whatever else I could do. I started running in my early 20's and even reached my goal of running in a 5k. I was in the best shape of my life. But then marriage and babies came along and so did the weight. I gained 40 something pounds with each one of my pregnancies and retained about 10 of those pounds from each one. I have started different exercise programs off and on for the past 8 1/2 years, but never stuck to one for very long. Mommyhood is tiring and I had zero motivation. Now I am finally ready to do something about my body and my health. I want to have the energy again so I can play with my kids and go on bike rides with them. I have 20 pounds to do away with to be at my goal weight and I am sooo ready!
