Well hello there! I'm Cari aka "Queen Of The City" - 31 year old native of Atlanta, GA. And in being a Georgia Peach, over the years my "peach" has gotten "too round" to say the least. LOL. So I decided to stop doing "half azz" workouts just to maintain my size and really get into the groove and live a healthier lifestyle.


I ran track since the age of 12 and I used to dance in high school and in college. So being in shape really used to be my thing. But once I stopped those activities, the "problem areas" started to surface.


And I definitely knew that I needed to get out of my rut once buttons were popping off of pants and my skinny jeans weren't looking as "skinny" as they used to. But the straw that broke the camel's back was when SEVERAL people (even strangers) would come up to me and ask if I were pregnant or how far long am I and proceed to rub my belly! Grrrrrrrrrr! I don't even have kids! So instead of cursing them out, I decided to use that angry feeling to make a change for the better.


My other motivation to join BeachBody and get in shape came from Coach Tiyona (RealTruthHurts). She doesn't know me and I have never met or talked with her one on one. But it sure feels like I have. I watched several of her videos on YouTube and I noticed that her body type was similar to mine and that she seemed to really have a strong desire to live a healthier lifestyle (just like me). Plus, she keeps it REAL and that's what I enjoy hearing the most.


So I have started doing INSANITY. My journey began on Monday, May 9, 2011 and will end on July 16, 2011. I have made a commitment to "eat clean and dig deep" for 60 days. My goal is to workout 6 days a week and rest on Sunday.


One day, I hope I can be a motivation to others. So please roll with me on my journey to being FIT and FAB!
