There comes a time in everyones life where they realize it is time to grow up and start taking care of your self. That time is now. After sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day, eating junk food and not exercising I have put on some weight. By some, I mean a lot. Listen to the first thing Tony says: Just show up. You may not be in the mood or have the motivation to do the workout, but after the warm up, your blood is pumping, you're starting to sweat, and theres only 50 minutes left. The trick it to NOT watch the clock. You have to focus on your reps. If you do happen to look at the clock just tell yourself "there is only XX minutes left, I can do this". What helps me is I know that the last 8 - 10 minutes is the cool down. So if there is 30 min left I tell myself "alright, 20 min left. That's nothing, I can do this". Push yourself hard but know your limits. Nothing is worse than injuring yourself and having to stop working out for a week or 2. All that previous hard work just goes down the drain.
