2/4/09 -I started with another New Years resolution and I am bound and determined to achieve it. I tried this last year, I purchased "The Firm" and "Slim in 6" from Beach Body and I lost 35 pounds from last January to June. The summer came and well workouts seemed to diminish and eventually disappear. I put about 15 pounds back on. I just purchased a couple of Kathy Smith's "Project You" and the "Turbo Jam" series and I absolutely love "Turbo Jam". I have been working out almost every day and really watching my calorie and fat intake. I have quite a fitness library so I'm able to mix and match. I'm going to do it this time! I know I can!
I have set a huge goal for myself - -60# by end of June (10 pounds a month) Yikes! I am planning on going to Mexico for a trip and I don't want to be the fat girl in the pool this time.

Update- I am 1/2 way there!!! 3 months and and 3 to go - I am down 30# - I am not going to go back to what I was this is too much work. Keep on truckn!!!

Update- I have worked my booty off for the past 3 month only to lose the same 8 pounds over and over. I am at such a huge plateau that I'm incredibly frustrated. I am 20# short of my goal for my trip next week but....I should be happy with 40# gone since Jan of this year. I am going to go on my trip and enjoy myself (I am very thirsty :-) )and then I'm going to come back and hopefully drop 2 sizes by September. My journey is not over, it is just beginning. Maybe this trip will break my plateau. See you on the flip side.
10/30/07 Well I did great for my trip last July I got down to 179 - I was sooo excited. I had lost 72 pounds from my heaviest just 2 years ago. Well, my trip came and went (it was a good time) I knew I was going to gain some weight on my trip but I was okay with that. I only gained 4# over the week (I did not watch what I ate or drank) I was surprised. However only 4 days back in the states and I had gained 7 more and I was actually watching but no longer insistent about it and.....exercise? Out the window. I have been trying so hard to get back in the motivation to get back on track but having a hard time. I have gained about 20# back and I am starting to have to go back up a size - I can't allow that to happen! Yesterday I started back on a strict diet (couldn't exercise because of Monday night football - yeah! Packers rocked - great game) So, tonight was the hopeful kick off of getting back down in size, weight and healthy. It is amazing how everything else around you isn't as fabulous when you fell poohy about yourself. So, here's to another beginnig!

We'll try this again. It has been extremely hard to get motivated again. I worked so hard last year and I was incredibly successful but... I was also completely consumed with a certain amount of weight to lose in a certain amount of time. I'm going to try and focus on changing my lifestyle. I have quite a few screws loose so this is going to be tough not to perseverate on my weight like the end of the world is coming. Here's to fitting into my new clothes. :-)

Well another year has gone by and well, I am back up. I am hoping that this time is the life change and not just a frenzy for a certain date. I am at 232 as of yesterday so.... another long road ahead. It is frustrating that I kicked my own ass to lose 40+ lbs last time and now I have to do it all again. These pounds are not my friends but they keep visiting. It makes me sad but like my mom always says "It is what it is - take care of business". I am hoping my next entry isn't in a year and with the same story attached. OPERATION : "looking fine in 09" is here!:-)


I hate to say it but.... I so did not look fine in 09. :-( Hopefully I can accomplish this weight loss thing again. I'm gonna try. I turn 40 in April and honestly i did not picture myself looking and feeling this way. 2010 and at it AGAIN.
