Meade, KS I am a survivor, and a thriver. I am beating the odds. I had triple bypass heart surgery on 10/4/10.
Today, I am thriving with my second chance. I currently weigh 225, have a cholesterol of about 165, BP is usually 120/76 or so, and I workout and run 6 days a week.
I'm 47, born and raised in Philly but now living in Kansas.

I am a program director and radio announcer and I love what I do full time. Being a Beachbody Coach part time helps me to continue to help people too.
I was an athlete in school way back in the day, and am also a veteran of the U.S. Army. (185 when I got out of Basic in '92) Now, I am at 225, and making the changes I need to survive, and thrive.
I am a follower of Christ first and foremost, and want to give Him any glory for any transformation that takes place.
I am happily married to Vivian for 20 years, and am the parents of 3 great kids, Alex, 22, Sami, 18, and Rachael 16.
They are part of the reason I am doing this too, I want to be around to dance at my daughters weddings with them.

Fast forward to 10/4/10. Unexpected triple bypass surgery. I had let myself balloon to 282 pounds, and needed this life saving operation!
Today, I am at 240, and after 5 months of post surgery cardio rehab, I am beginning a new round of P90X on 4/1/11.
