I used to box from age 12 to 18, then college happened. The freshman 15 is no myth, I gained upwards of 40 lbs and pretty much stopped working out altogether. Joined a fraternity and lost all that weight while pledging. I was in good shape after that for quite a while, then I got lazy and gained it all back :(

Now I'm working in the city, looking to transfer to another school. I have been really lazy with working out throughout the winter and am up to 198 lbs. When I set my mind to it though, I know I can lose it all again.
I've always been one of those people who can go at a program, hardcore for a few months, lose a ton of weight.. then gain it all back because I stop doing any exercise. I'm looking to hopefully be able to get back in shape and STAY in shape for years, getting tired after a 3/4 mile run sucks and is a tad bit embarrassing. I was going to start with the P90X plan but I read around and asked some people and they recommended I do the Power 90 program first, so that's what I ordered, should get it in 5-7 days. So yeah.. that's pretty much my story.
I'm 21 years old and weigh 198 lbs. I need somebody who can really get on my case and help motivate me to stick to working out. Personality wise, people say I'm a sweet guy, lol.

I think I came into Power 90 with the right mentality. I wanted to prove people that I could do it and that if you stick to a workout regimen, it will work wonders. The soreness I felt on that first week was an indication that these moves are working muscles I haven't used in quite a while.
As time went by, my progress and dedication became less about proving other people that I can do it and more about trying to make a dream of mine come true. That dream was one I wrote in the booklet Power 90 came with... to be in the best shape of my life and to finally have a six pack.
Day by day I would push myself harder and harder, doing everything I could to maximize my workouts. Before I knew it I was done with the program. Looking back at my Day 1 picture I honestly cannot believe that was me 3 months ago. It is truly remarkable what Power 90 did for me. This is the first time in my life that I can say I no longer have love handles. My six pack isn't here yet, its in a race car speeding my way.
September 1st I'll be starting P90X and I will tackle this program with the same intensity and dedication that I did with Power 90. By the end of this new journey I KNOW I will be in the absolute best shape of my life. The goal is to get that infamous 8 pack now.
