My name is Pattie, and I am thrilled to be a new Coach. As a young teen living overseas, and with "Patsy Pig" as an affectionate nickname, I was "chubby", to say the least. Fortunately, we moved to the Mediterranean where a large part of our meals consisted of fruits and vegetables. Between the improved diet and the increase in activity level (the beaches there are fantastic), I dropped many pounds, as well as the nickname. It was then that I saw the impact that nutritious food and excercise have on achieving a healthy weight. I returned to the US to attend college where I met my husband, Don, of 38 years. We've had many wonderful adventures during our years together, and share the determination to stay as fit and healthy as possible. When we moved to the beautiful State of Maine in our mid twenties, we were blessed to have a candid physician. He told me that although the few pounds I had gained over the year did not seem like much, if I continued to gain those same pounds each year, I would be OBESE in less than ten years. Additionally, I would increase my chances for serious health issues. That was the reminder we needed to get back on track and improve our lifestyle. I have been an Educator, Rehabilitaiton Specialist, Inn Keeper, Family Program Coordinator and House Renovator. Each profession was both interesting and rewarding. At this point in our lives, we are excited about being Coaches for Beachbody. The opportunity for physical and financial growth is incredible, and we are thrilled to be a part of a unique organization which embodies all of the elements to make the "American Dream" possible for anyone. We feel privileged to be in a position to help others reach their goals and fulfill their dreams!

Though I joined at the end of January, and due to many "life situations" I did not begin my workouts until March 18,2009. I am a relatively active person, and I walk our dog every day for about an hour in, rain, snow, and of course in sunshine. My weight is not an issue, and we eat a healthy diet BUT, I noticed I was losing tone and my waist line. Time to step it up and tone those muscles! I love the two programs (Booty Ballet and Slim in 6)I have tried so far. I am going to try a new workout each day to be a better spokes person for my team members. It is already changing the way I manage my day. My productivity has increased, as has my fitness; hard to believe in such a short period of time. You will be amazed at the positive changes that come once you join and participate in Beachbody! It has been a month since I actively started a serious workout routine. I continue to try new tapes, and I love the variety! Though I notice many people choose to stick with one program, my mood and energy level determine the workout I select. There certainly is something for everyone, so it will be difficult to come up with an excuse not to workout! I hope you will enjoy the wonderful feeling that comes with striving for a healthy body and lifestyle. Best wishes for success!
