In the summer of 2009, I was at the top of another yo-yo diet cycle. I was my biggest ever (239 pounds). I did not want to disappoint myself, and so I decided it was time for a permanent lifestyle change. I had dieted before, but never included serious exercise. I had some success walking and counting calories, and had dropped down to around 206 pounds by January 2010.

Beginning in January 2010, I started a round of Power 90. I was getting good results, but I wanted better results faster. I needed to up the ante, so I started Insanity at the beginning of April. I have completed Insanity and P90X. My original fitness goal was only about weight loss. At this point I have changed my fitness goals to a lower body fat percentage, and visible ab muscles for the first time in my life.
