I have been overweight most of my life. Emotional issues as a child led to little activity and more eating. Coming from a meat and potatoes family made it even more difficult to try and stave off the calories. Even being active in high school wasn't enough to keep the weight off.

At the age of 28 I hit my highest weight ever, 198 lbs. I was miserable and cut back my food and even lost about 20 pounds. It kept trying to creep back up and I kept trying to make it go away.

In 2003, I discovered Slim in 6 while watching infomercials. I figured it couldn't hurt so I got it and let Debbie take over. That sweet smile of hers...don't let it fool you. She kicked my rear end, but in a good way. I found myself with more energy and wanting to try more.

I have tried most of the Beachbody products and founds them all to be wonderful. I have my favorites and not so favorites but the variety and the energy of the BB trainers cannot be out done. It is what keeps me going, through all the ups and downs, the moaning and groaning, and the glory that can be had. I will always be a "work in progress". I have a goal this year to lose 20 pounds and get more fit than ever. I am going to give it all I have with the help of my WOWY buddies, my coach, and the wonderful folks at Beachbody.
