I think one of the reasons my physical fitness declined is that I got tired of going to the gym and having to fight for equipment to workout. It is pathetic that you have to stand in line to run on the treadmill. But, most gym business models are based on 'sign up as many people as possible'. Who cares if they all show up at the same time everyday and the gym is only equiped to handle X amount of people and they sign up 10X number of people.
Anyway, back to the bio. I hope to meet some like minded people here that we can take the journey together to the promised land of physical fitness.

When I was younger I played the usual sports-baseball, football, basketball, etc. But then at the age of 16 I started weightlifting and practicing the martial arts. I quit competive sports when I graduated from College and have mostly lifted weights, done martial arts, and some other miscellaneous stuff like hiking and some dancing.
Now, at the age of 48 I really want to combine all that I have learned and trained in to resculpt my body which has gotten a little soft these last few years.
