I gained forty more pounds during my senior year of high school. When I started college I decided that the weight needed to come off. I started dieting, exercising, and using fat burner pills. The weight did come off but soon the problems began. I would get heart burn, stomach aches, having I have always been up and down with my weight. At 14 yrs old I went from 115 lbs. to 140 lbs. in one year. I gained forty more pounds during my senior year of high school. When I started college I decided that the weight needed to come off. I started dieting, exercising, and using fat burner pills. The weight did come off but soon the problems began. I would get heart burn, stomach aches, having irregular heart beats and panic attacks. I stopped taking the pills and went back to my bad habits. In 2006 I was 196 lbs and was miserable and depressed. I disliked the way I looked and was always tired and out of energy. I knew my life was unhealthy and made a dramatic change. I decided to take a boot camp class and started eating healthy. I worked out twice a day 4-5 times a week. I started eating sugar- free and fat free foods. I thought they were healthy for me. I lost a total of 35 lbs in a two month period.I looked and felt great and loved all the comments I was getting. I was fitting into a size 9/11... I was previously a size 15/17. It went to my head and slowly but surely started eating junk food and stopped working out. AND little by little the weight came back! In a period of one year I went from 165 lbs to 215 lbs... 215 lbs! The biggest I have ever been! My self esteem hit rock bottom!I had finally given up on life and thought to myself that it was worthless to even try. I was going to be fat for the rest of my life so why even try? WOW!I can't believe I thought like that!I was always negative and disliked my life. I didn't want to go to social events or family events and didn't like running into people I had not seen in a long time. One day I just got tired of it and told myself enough was ENOUGH!It took a whole lot out of me to snap out of it and seek help. My cousin told me about Oxygen Magazine and I subscribed to it and found out about Tosca Reno and her Eat Clean Diet Book series. I have read three of her books and they helped me lose a total of 58lbs. I have learned to stay away from processed foods and eat foods that are in their natural state. No more fat free or sugar free products for me!!! In March 2011 I started feeling pain in my lower back. I didn't stop working out and just thought I was sore from lifting weights. The pain got worse and worse. I had to stop my intense work outs and only walk. I started doing physical therapy and working on my posture. I started seeing a chiropractor and we slowly started on making my body stronger again. I regained my strength and learned how to use my core. My doctor told me that it was important to eat healthy and drink lots of water. I got depressed for a couple of days but soon snapped out of it and told myself that I would not let this get in the way of getting fit. I was going to prove to myself that I could still get fit while recovering from an injury. I'm still losing weight, losing inches, and building muscle. I have more definition in my arms and my abs. Some days are harder than others.Getting out of bed can be tough some days but I'm alive and that's what matters! I am currently at 157 lbs and a size 11/13. In order to help me reach my new fitness and weight goals I will continue hiking and doing P90x. To help me with my nutrition goals I have ordered Shakeology. After much thought I decided to become a BeachBody coach and share my weight loss journey with others and motivate and inspire others to get fit and healthy. Beachbody provides the tools to help you succeed and I believe in this company. I'm proud to be a part of this great company. The support I received from Beachbody community has been amazing! Y he aprendido mucho!
