Lafayette, AL I have struggled with my weight all of my life. As you can see by my photo (soon to update), I looked like I always felt, FAT! I have been on, tried, and failed at so many fad diets and many others that I just gave up. There is one common denominator in most programs I "joined," simply to make money off your being fat. I have been on, tried, and failed at so many fad diets and many others that I just gave up. There is one common denominator in most programs I "joined," simply to make money off your being fat. These programs want you to be fat or they would not make money. I am excited about this program and have a great guy for my coach! I also have been building my support team and think I have a great group that is going to make sure I stay on track.
At 297 pounds, the heaviest I have ever been, I decided I needed to find something.
UPDATE - 12.16.2010
I actually, fell off the wagon as far as P90. However, thanks to Aaron Mathis, Mike French, and Mike Meads they did put me on the path to a better me. They kept telling me that I needed to find what would work for me and encouraged me to keep looking. I did and found starting in a gym with a coach there to work for me. It does not matter how you approach getting fit, what matters is that you DECIDE and COMmIT.
Starting Jan 3, 2011 I started a new challenge for myself. I started by adding P90X to my arsenal. I kept with this for about 3 weeks and found that doing this along with my gym challenge was too much for my shoulders. Being I had already committed monetarily to the gym and under contract I had to continue with it until I could get my shoulder strenght in balance.
April 9, 2011, I completed a fitness test at the gym. Found my strength has improved but still needs work on the endurance, upper body, core, and biceps. I am now ready to add P90X. I will begin adding this and watching where I go from there. I intend on getting this fat completely gone! As of today 68 pounds lost. Stay tuned with me and watch me take it to the next level.
