I'll be 48 in 7/20 (19 days) and my HS 30-yr reunion is this year. I'm embarrassed to attend because of my enormous size. I've put on the weight over the years and it's conveniently kept me single ;-) I believe that when raising a child it's important to not bring people into their lives if there's any possibility he/she may not stay. My son is 16 and when he was tall enough to ride a roller coaster that did loops etc. I forced him to go - by the third time he was hooked! HOW FUN to have something like that to enjoy with yer kid. Now he wants to drive out to NY and make a stop at Cedar Point, I anonymously e-mailed them for restrictions of extra-large people on thrill rides. They kindly wrote back with a circumference and or women over a size 18 are not likely to "fit". . . Aargh! I wanna have fun.

I can't blame anyone or anything one thing for my current state of obesity. I mean my son is 16 and so I can't just say I didn't lose the baby weight and it's just kept going up along with trials and tribulations of life that anyone could have happen to them. Broken ankle, two motor vehicle accidents, multiple surguries - basically I've been INACTIVE since 1999 WOW!

I know to set little goals on the way to the big goal - somehow ironic I bought TurboJam instead of the 10-minute trainer. I think that should be where I start as just walking out to the car gets me winded. I truly believe putting this Bio and joining the community is a great step towards my goal of fitness and a healthy life.
