Four years ago, I decided to become a vegetarian and I had a hard time losing weight. I've tried Weight Watchers, Dr. Weil's, Nutrisystem, etc. One day I decided to become a Club Member to get the most out of the Beachbody videos and get the diet plan. Most people say they lose weight switching to a vegetarian diet, but not me. I have to work hard at both exercise and diet to lose. I didn't like working out at a gym. It always made me feel self-conscious, but working out at home is a great solution.
At this point of my life, I'm not really worried about the scale numbers. I just want to be as healthy as I possibly can and feel good in my clothing.
I'm still learning and reaching my fitness goals. So if you have any questions about the Beachbody programs or other general fitness/nutrition questions, please let me know. If I don't know the answer, I'll find out because I want to know as much as I can about a healthy, full-filling life.

I've been chunky all my life. I grew up eating fast food at most meals, dessert after every meal and barely did activities. I've been that way since I graduated college. I was getting tired of that lifestyle. I didn't feel good on the inside or the outside and I had terrible heartburn all my life.
I started to diet which brought my weight down a bit, but then I incorporated exercise. That's when I lost 20lbs and felt better. Then my mother suggested a diet called Medifast (recommended by her doctor) and I lost 30 lbs. I regained that weight because it was a liquid diet (which I don't recommended to anyone).
So I've decided to just eat a healthy vegetarian diet and exercise most days. My heartburn has disappeared and I feel really good and strong.
I haven't met my goal, but I know I'm going to get there with a healthy diet and my fitness programs.
