To start, I haven't been active in years. I have a desk job, excuses, etc. For some reason Insanity really piqued my interest.

To start, I haven't been active in years. I have a desk job, excuses, etc. For some reason Insanity really piqued my interest.

A few days into the program, I tore my right calf doing the warm-up jumping jacks, of all things. After letting it heal up, I got back into the program.

A few weeks later, sticking as close as practical to the workouts and eating suggestions, although I didn't look any different to me, I had lost roughly 8 lbs, and felt a little leaner and oddly taller.

A week or so after that and I had to start wearing a belt...

Update 1: 49 days in, 4/9 weeks of Insanity completed. I'm down 10lbs, and all of my pants are loose. My legs are hard, but I'm not thrilled with how my upper body is coming along. Admittedly, however, my upper body had a lot further to go than my legs. =]

I've been steadily doing 4-5 workouts per week, and have adjusted my diet a couple times over the past 7 weeks. I still haven't found a sweet spot as far as meals ease & benefit goes. I'm really not much for cooking flair.
