I am a mother of two boys and have been married for 13 years. I have always been a working mother. My profession is in the Mortgage Industry. I love being outdoors (when it is not cold!). My fitness likes are yoga, walking, biking and running. My personal likes are being with family, playing and keeping up with the kids. Keeping up requires a lot of energy! I love movies and reading

My transformation story has always been a work in progress. I have struggled with my weight as an adult starting my senior year in high school. I think I topped the scales at 179 that year. My More ...
My transformation story has always been a work in progress. I have struggled with my weight as an adult starting my senior year in high school. I think I topped the scales at 179 that year. My family on my Mother's side all struggle with weight. Most closely to me would be my Grandmother, Mother and older Sister. Since that high school senior year I have been concerned about my weight, appearance, and more recently my health. Early on I went do "diet doctors" that provide pills that we all found out years later were not healthy. I think what I find most irritating about my body is how quickly I can gain weight. Just a few days of not focusing on my diet and exercise can make a big difference on the scales and how I feel. In the last few years I have been increasingly interested in health and nutrition. I know what I put in my body is good for me. I feel certain I have this nutriton piece of the puzzle figured out. My continued focus needs to be on portion control and exercise. I had a small set back this year due to a recurring bought of Mono. This zapped my energy level and has done a number on my thyroid gland. My last physical reflects my thyroid to be 1/2 of what it was two years ago. I am hoping continued exercise will help bring this number back up and help me to slowly regain some zest and energy. My weight today is somewhat comfortable for me, but I want to finally be "happy" with my weight and body and not just accept "comfortable". I love being outdoors and will continue my outside exercise of biking, running and walking. My most passionate form of exercise is Yoga. I am enjoying the MBD daily vitamins. I am currently working out at home to Slim in 6 Express and 7 Minute Abs. My middle section needs some toning! I look forward to working with my coach and friends at MDB and reaching my goal in 2008 and with their help I look forward to better serving and helping others.
