Well, I'm a precocious 26 year-old, a Master's Student at university and I work as a youth counselor; I've already gained my Advanced level and Bachelors degrees, and I'm almost done with my Masters.
My Passions: art, reading, martial arts, cooking [a pretty decent cook who ADORES great food, healthy and decadent], music, cartoons---YES, everybody has some kid in them--- my family and loved
Well, I'm a precocious 26 year-old, a Master's Student at university and I work as a youth counselor; I've already gained my Advanced level and Bachelors degrees, and I'm almost done with my Masters.
My Passions: art, reading, martial arts, cooking [a pretty decent cook who ADORES great food, healthy and decadent], music, cartoons---YES, everybody has some kid in them--- my family and loved ones. I'm constantly seeking to better myself and others, and I've done a fair share of traveling, academically and otherwise.
I can be showy, extravagant, and gallant [it's the sanguine in my nature]. I'll admit, I'm a flirt, a former scout, and a snacker, but I have more than my share of quiet moments. When I'm stimulated----mentally, spiritually, and otherwise--- I have an unstoppable energy; its genetic. When used for a good cause there is nothing to stop me....usually.
Truth be told, I can be very hard to understand because of my eccentricities. Crazy, cool in my own way, somewhat boisterous, emotional, strong, spirited, curious, enigmatic and animated I'm really a bit more of a youth than a man, but I take my responsibilities seriously.
My faults: I'm sometimes obstinate, 'own-way’, I tend to procrastinate, and I love my comforts (chocolate is my CURSE. As an artists and writer, I have a tendency to be moody, going from highs to lows at the oddest provocations. Yet anyone who knows me will say my word is my bound, my honor is my guide and I'm always there to be depended on when I'm needed.
Despite the craziness, I wouldn't change my character for the world. My body, however, is a different thing...
I've been into (and out of)martial arts for years, predominantly Aikido and Kung Fu. It's made me strong and pretty fit, but my constant snacking has made my physique more Chris Tucker than Jackie Chan. My goal with this competition is to keep myself motivated by guaging my progress against a variety of other people with similar goals; maybe a little compare and contrasts, along with the amazing program of P90X, will give me the outward look to match my inner strength and build my (physical) confidence a bit more. The monethly competitions give us further smaller goals to look forward to, but I really want to see some positive changes in my body so Ican live a long, strong, healthy life.
