Always active, in the last number of years I've flabbed up. Am currently 160, would dearly love to firm up and look at life at around 140 or so. My favorite workouts include swimming, strength training, cardio, and -- a long time ago -- basketball.

In September 2006 a Slim in 6 infomercial came onto late night television, and I began to consider the possibilities it offered. A former swimmer and basketball player in school (MANY moons ago), it was becoming apparent that it was high time for a change, not only in attitude, but in life. Food is energy! I'd never thought one whit about food selections, portion control, times for eating, not eating 3 hours before going to bed--basically, taking care of me for me! Could such a change be possible at this time? I looked at my "physique" in the mirror, and found myself trying to rationalize, and justify the image staring back at me, and realized that lying to myself wasn't going to help me attain ANY fitness goals, and that it was time to think differently in order to inspire the changes I wished to see. So I ordered the Slim in 6 program, wondering just where this path would take me...
