I have always been an avid exerciser, trying to keep myself looking and feeling good throughout my life. After having kids at 40 years old, my stomach wasn't as tight as it had been previously and it seems that no matter what I did, I couldn't get rid of a little stomach pouch I had developed there. I then devoted my life to taking care of my children, and eventually homeschooling them as they got older. Between this and trying to take care of the house and my husband as well, I had no more time left for myself, so my exercising was intermittent at best. In December 2010 we joined the "Y" to try to begin exercising and get in better shape again. As much as we worked out, we could see ourselves improving in ability, but not really making any changes in our bodies. In March 2011, my husband ordered Insanity (I thought he was insane!), When it came, I saw what he was doing (then I knew he was insane! But I also saw testimonials on Team Beachbody of other people who had done Insanity and I said to myself, "Maybe this is just the thing I need to really get me back into great shape." I quickly started to do the workouts with my husband, and the results I got amazed me. My stomach pouch was gone, my butt, legs and arms were much more toned and defined and my waistline was slim. Insanity was awesome and people kept asking me how I keep myself in such good shape at my age. Do you know how good that makes you feel!! Well I decided that I want to help others look and feel as good as I do through using the Beachbody products, that I decided to become a coach and now that we have the Derm Exclusive skincare products (something that is right up my alley) I am even more excited.
