This story may sound like so many others, but it is my experience up to this point. I really have never been "fit" or "cut-up". Growing up I was "normal" I guess, was active, played football and marched in our school band. I started college, and I married the most beautiful girl in the world, which at the time I was 23, about 180, 36 in waist, and then life started, work, kids, and I didnt put much effort into me. I guess I got comfortable, too comfortable, that at my worst I reached 354 lbs, 56 in waist (I feel terrible for my wife, she had to put up with that!!) We both gained weight, but my beautiful wife decided to do something about it. She saw an infomercial about Slim in Six, and asked me to get it for her. Like alot of us, I was completely skeptical, "Yeah right, as if this is going to work. She did several rounds, and I saw her transform her body. But that is what I did wrong, I just watched. She went on to order P90, and she went through that as well, but I still just watched. It wasn't until this year that I almost lost it all, that finally made me wake up. With my doctor telling me I'm killing myself, and my wife worried about me, I finally put my mind to do something about it. I started P90 in January (quit a few weeks into it, and then started up again 2 or 3 times since then, but have kept going since)and I have seen results. I also had the opportunity to take my kids to a martial arts festival this summer. I had put a distant memory way in the back of my mind, that when I was a kid I enjoyed tae kwon do, so naturally I figured my kids would be interested. They did, and I got more than I bargained for. They wanted to do martial arts. Here's the twist, when I was signing them up, they asked, "Dad, aren't you going to do it with us?!" I wassn't about to tell them "no", so we are all now working out at a local martial arts school as a family. Best move I made, I get to spend time with the kids and my wonderful wife plus we get to work out together. You can see the results up to this point in the pictures. I'm now 40, and if I can do it anyone can. I have a ways to go yet, but I know that with the support my wife has been giving me, I'll get to my goal.
